Biography

Serajul I. Bhuiyan (Ph.D. in mass communications, University of Wisconsin-Madison; M.B.A., Texas University-Texarkana) has 29 years of teaching and administrative experience as a full professor and administrator at different universities in the United States, Asia, Middle East, Europe and Australia. He was also a practicing journalist who wrote for multiple news outlets across the globe.  Notable interviews included President Jimmy Carter, Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, former prime minister of Malaysia and Nobel Laureate Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus.  He is a decorated teacher and has served as a consultant and faculty developer.  His research interests include communications, technology and teaching effectiveness.
