Summer 2021	Michon Shaw participated in the Summer 2021 REU Bridge to Research in Marine Sciences Program at SSU.
Oct 26-29 2021	Dr. Carol Pride and S-STEM participants visited Savannah Bee Company on Wilmington Island, GA.
Apr 30 2022	Dr. Carol Pride and S-STEM participants visited Oatland Island Wildlife Refuge in Savannah, GA.
Summer 2022	Amia Liddle participated in an internship at the Univeristy of North Texas in Fort Worth.
Summer 2022	Jalen Magee participated in the iApply program at SSU.
Summer 2022	Kourtney Mcquerry participated in the University of Michigan Pharmacy Scholars Program.
Summer 2022	Amaya Holmes completed a internship at Louisiana State University (LSU).
Sep 29-Oct 1 2022	(CANCELLED) Dr. Carol Pride, Dr. Shawn Rosenquist, and Dr. Agegnehu Atena submitted a poster for the 2022 S-STEM Symposium taking place at the Hyatt REgency on Capitol Hill.
Jun 5, 2023	Dr. Pride and S-STEM students participated in a beach cleanup at Tybee Island, GA.
Summer 2023	Amia Liddle completed an internship with the Markey STRONG Scholars Program at the University of Kentucky.
Summer 2023	Michon Shaw in the S.T.R.O.N.G 2023 MSCI Geoscience Internship joined with the University of Texas Moody College of Communication.
Summer 2023	Julie Ware Completed an internship at Purdue University.
Summer 2023	Naudiea Newman completed an internship with Idaho National Laboratory.
Summer 2023	Jalen Magee completed a research project at Purdue Univerisity.
Summer 2023	Jamyiah Teasley worked with the GBI in Atlanta, GA with Deputy Director of the GBI Laboratory, Mr. Cleveland Miles.
Summer 2023	Jamyiah Teasley completed a virtual internship doing research with the University of Arizona, National Summer Undergraduate Research Project (NSURP).
Sep 14-16 2023	Dr. Agegnehu Atena, Jamyiah Teasley, and Jazzmyne Terrell attend the 2023 S-STEM Scholars Meeting in Washington, DC.
Nov 10-11 2023	Dr. Carol Pride and Michael Richard attend the Georgia Undergraduate Research Conference (GURC) conference in Valdosta, GA.
Nov 15-18 2023	Ja'Niyah Thurman presented a poster at ABRCMS.
Feb 11 2024	Jashua Gates and Jaylee Scott participated in the Super Museum Sunday fieldtrip. They and 7 others students from BIOL, ENVS, and MSCI visited Tybee Island Marine Science Center and Ft. Pulaski.
Spring 2024	Julie Ware was the winner of the Logo Contest with AAAS S-STEM Scholars.
Summer 2024	Julie Ware will be participating in the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Technology Transitions Technology Commercialization Internship Program (TCIP).
