Student Orientation Leaders

The Student Orientation Leader's Association consists of upper-class students of SSU that assist with the orientation of new students to the campus community by helping them make the transition from high school to college. They provide services, contacts and referrals to help students enhance their college experience and deepen their commitment to scholarship. They serve as role models and provide an environment where school spirit and pride can be enhanced.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Student Orientation Leader's Association is to support Savannah State University's learning environment by providing peer mentoring to incoming freshmen, transfer, and international students during orientation and throughout the year. By orienting students to the campus community, appropriate role models, and resources, the Student Orientation Leader's Association strives to enhance the college experiences of students and deepen their commitment to scholarship.

Membership
