Crystal Locke is originally from Dayton, Ohio. She earned her BA from Central State University in English Literature. She attained her MA from the University of Dayton as well as her principals license. She recently completed her Ed.D coursework at Georgia Southern University and has progressed to the dissertation phase. She has worked at Savannah State for the last eight years and is currently teaching for the School of Teacher Education. Additionally, she worked in the K-12 arena for ten years as a teacher, teacher trainer, academic coach, and administrator.
She is currently researching same race mentors for the African American male.
