eCORE allows University System of Georgia (USG) students the opportunity to complete the first two years of their collegiate careers in an online environment. eCore® courses are taught entirely online, except for the occasional proctored exam, and are designed, developed and supported by faculty and staff from the USG.
If you are a current undergraduate, a transient student from another institution, a junior or senior in high school, or just need to pick up a core course, eCore® gives you the flexibility of an online course with a guarantee of quality in both instruction and content, and the ability to transfer eCore credits to any USG institution. For more information about eCore®, visit the website or contact the SSU eCore® Advisor at: email@example.com.
eCore® USG Website
eCore® is a convenient and adaptable option for either getting started in college or for resuming college after a break or pause. To view information about eCore® including textbook orders, proctored exams and course offerings visit the eCore® USG website.
Before you can begin the registration process, you MUST complete the eCore® Introduction Quiz. If you are a current SSU student, please include your Student ID and SSU email address. If you are not a current SSU student, please visit SSU's Admissions Website to begin your admissions process.
eCore® is part of the University System of Georgia collaborative programs. Often the eCore® Calendar varies from the SSU Academic calendar. Please use the eCore® calendar for registration and important course dates.
SSU students taking eCore® classes follow SSU's Academic Policies and Procedures for add/drop (contact the SSU eCORE advisor) and withdrawal (hardship and medical).
The SSU/eCore Course Equivalency Guide includes a description of the eCore® program, information on SSU and eCore® course equivalents, registration and help information.
NOTE: Students living on campus cannot enroll in more than six (6) credit hours per semester of eCore® courses unless they have the written approval of the dean of their respective college.
