Southern Stingray Bowl

The Southern Stingray Bowl is a regional competition for high schools students in the Georgia and South Carolina region.  Historic Savannah State University hosts this year's Southern Stingray Bowl. 

The quiz bowl competition focuses on marine sciences.  Each team consists of 4 team members and one alternate.   The morning begins with a round robin competition which determines the single elimination round placement in the afternoon.

Southern Stingray Bowl is Saturday, February 2, 2019 

The winning team from the Southern Stingray Bowl will move to the National Ocean Sciences Bowl to compete against 24 other regional first place teams.  The 2019 National Ocean Sciences Bowl Finals competition will be held in Washington, DC.

Lodging: The Southern Stingray Bowl provides lodging for teams on Friday night.  Hotel information will be released directly to registered teams. 


Team Breakfast tickets: $8.00 per person
