Biography

Weranuj Ariyasriwatana (Ph.D. in Communication and Information Sciences with a concentration in Health Communication, University of Hawaii at Manoa; M.A. in Global Marketing Communication and Advertising, Emerson College, Boston) joined the department as a visiting professor in fall 2018. For 16 years she has done consultancy work with international companies in the fields of strategic communications, public relations, and advertising. Along with crafting marketing communication strategies for global and local brands like Central Food Retail, Nestle, Ajinomoto, Microsoft, Intel, Durex, J&J, and Unilever, she also identified and reported consumer insights. Her launch strategy for Nescafe PROTECT was awarded as one of the three best strategies of the year by Nestle Global.
