Advisory Council

The Advisory Council is made up of student consumers of the STAR services, student coalition members, staff, faculty, and representatives of University Advancement and community members who work in related fields. The council meets twice per semester.

The role of the STAR Advisory Council is to:

  1. Set mission, strategic goals, and policy
  2. Raise funds and provide resources
  3. Represent the organization to the public
  4. Develop themselves through recruitment and training
  5. Identify and staff potential and current students in need of support
