Bill Davis Memorial Golf Outing
Committed to student success and SSU scholarships. Register by September 30. Established by a group of Savannah State College (SSC) alumni, the Homecoming Golf Outing began in 1971 as an opportunity for individuals to get together to support Savannah State College. Over the years, the event grew and the support for SSC increased, specifically aimed at scholarship assistance for current students. In 1984, the Savannah State Foundation accepted the charge of hosting the Homecoming Golf Outing, working to increase the revenue the event provided for student financial aid.

Savannah State Volleyball takes on Fort Valley State University on Thursday, October 23, at 6 PM in Willcox-Wiley Gymnasium. Join us on campus and cheer on our Tigers as Homecoming Week continues with an exciting matchup!

Start your Homecoming Friday with the Savannah State University NROTC! Join us at the McGlockton Building from 8:00–11:00 a.m. for a morning of connection, conversation, and Tiger pride. Enjoy coffee and donuts while touring the NROTC unit, then stay for a dynamic Active-Duty Alumni Panel featuring SSU graduates who continue to serve our nation with excellence.
National Alumni Association Homecoming Memorial Service

Alumni Class Reunion Breakfast
This year marks the celebration for classes ending in 5’s and 0’s with the members of the 1975 class celebrating their “Golden Tiger” anniversary (50 years) and the members of the 2000 class celebrating their “Silver Tiger” anniversary (25 years). This being the important milestone that it is, the Office of Alumni Relations welcomes alumni from all over the world back home to Savannah State to enjoy a breakfast where “Savannah meets the Sea.”

Catch the sights, sounds, and Tiger pride at the SSU Homecoming Parade! Saturday, October 25 at 9 AM in Downtown Savannah – Join us as we kick off Homecoming in true Tiger style, leading up to the big game against Morehouse at 3 PM!
Tailgate Experience
Join us for the Homecoming Tailgate Party as Savannah State prepares to take on Morehouse in one of the most spirited events of the season. Featuring food, music, and Tiger pride across generations, the tailgate is a vibrant tradition where alumni, students, and fans come together to celebrate before kickoff. It’s the perfect way to connect, recharge, and get ready for game time.

Please note that to access campus you must purchase a parking pass and to access the tailgating area you must purchase a game day ticket.
