2013 SECME/VEX COMPETITIONS
Savannah State University’s College of Sciences & Technology in collaboration with the SSU Title III STEM 360 Activity announces the 2013 Regional South Eastern Consortium for Minorities in Engineering (SECME) Spring Competitions. The “Mousetrap Car” and “Water Rocket” competitions were held on the Historical SSU Campus April 13th, 30-40 (k-12) students from Bulloch, Bryan, Effingham, and Savannah-Chatham Counties competed for awards and the opportunity to earn Travel to National Competition Finals: round-trip travel, including transportation - 1st place Middle and High Engineering Design (Mousetrap Car) (Water Rocket) (Vex Robot) student teams of three each division), plus one chaperone per team.
