What is PaperCut?
PaperCut is the new pay for print system that is being implemented across campus. Students are able to print to various Sharp - TigerPrint printers located in general purpose labs/classroom labs or personal devices. We have installed new Sharp MX-C301W printers in all General Purpose, Residential Halls and Classroom Labs.
There are several ways you will be able to submit a job to the any printer on campus:

Using the pre-configured printers on computers in general labs/classroom labs

Sending your print job to a specific email address ( Coming Soon )

Submitting your job via a web browser ( Coming Soon )
Students are provided a $20 print credit at the beginning of each semester. You have the option to load additional funds once your printer credit has been exhausted.

Black/White copy/print jobs: 0.10 cents

Color copy/print jobs: 0.25 cents
Sharp – TigerPrint Copy/Print/ Scan Options
Printing from Lab Computers
- Login to the computer using your Tigerworld username and password.
- Click Print within the desired application
- Select the appropriate printer. Sharp-TigerPrint
- Configure the print options (Double-sided, Color, BW, ect..)
- Click Print
- Swipe your ID card at the Printer or Enter Student ID using Keypad (tap inside ID# box) to release your file
TigerPrint Copy - Sharp BW/Color Copy
- Login to the printer by Swiping your SSU ID Card or Enter Student ID using Keypad (tap inside ID# box)
- Tap Device Function
- Tap the Copy button to open the copying menu.
- Tap the # of copies needed on keypad.
TigerPrint - Scan & Email
- Login to the printer by Swiping your Student ID Card or Enter Student ID using Keypad (tap inside ID# box)
- Tap Device Function
- Tap the Image Send button to open the Scan & Email menu.
- Tap SCAN - Address Entry button - Email – To- then type in the email address of recipient. (File Format is PDF BW)
- Tap BW Start button to send
- To send document in Color tap the Color Start button to send
Can I send/release Sharp-TigerPrint jobs to printers located in the Library?
No. Sharp TigerPrint does not work with printers located in the Library.
