Program Overview

Savannah State University College of Business Administration (COBA) offers the fully online Bachelor's of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Management through a variety of course credit opportunities facilitated through SSU and USG core curriculum courses, prior learning credits including military, College Level Examination Program (CLEP), transfer courses and course credit completed via AP or IB programs/exams. Accredited by the AACSB, the Online BBA program meets the same course criteria as its campus-based counterpart, while facilitating the adult - distance education student travel with the program without the need to transfer institutions. COBA seats a board of corporate and private-sector leaders along with its faculty to deliver the most current, rigorous and sophisticated business programs in the region to provide its student body with the materials needed to graduate - and leverage the degree, alumni network, and job sector connections across the collegiate business school's population.

Method of Delivery

Coursework is available 100% online.

Students accepted under the Limited Admissions category must take the ACCUPLACER exam. If, based on the score earned, a student is required to take support Mathematics or English classes, then campus coursework may be necessary as the support courses are only available on campus. The only alternative would be to complete the English or Mathematics course at another accredited university or college and transfer the completed courses into SSU. 

 

Accreditation

Savannah State University is accredited by The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).  Savannah State University College of Business Administration is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

A transfer credit evaluation will be completed by the SSU Registrar's Office and COBA's Student Services office.
